TRAMA:
Un ricco proprietario viene trovato ucciso e della sua morte è ingiustamente accusata la
giovane Ruby, soprannome "figlia della palude", già chiacchierata per il matrimonio "interessato".
Il destino, tuttavia, sembra non serbarle rancore, ponendogli di nuovo sulla sua strada un vecchio amore.
Ma il fratello di quest'ultimo è un religioso che vede il peccato ovunque: lo troverà anche in Ruby.
