TRAMA:
Wilson, il comandante della "President Monroe", in accordo con alcuni suoi sottoposti, ha rubato i gioielli di un marajà che viaggiava a bordo della nave. Quando Wilson muore, i suoi complici si recano nel castello che questi possedeva per cercare il bottino che vi deve essere nascosto. Nel castello però, uno dopo l'altro, gli uomini dell'equipaggio muoiono, tranne Fairbanks, che è convinto che Wilson sia ancora vivo e che la sua morte sia solo un trucco per non dividere con gli altri il ricavato del furto. Arrestato dalla polizia, Fairbanks non riesce a dimostrare le sue teorie. Ma Wilson è realmente vivo e si è accordato con Connery, un detective corrotto di Scotland Yard. Riusciranno a farla franca?
