TRAMA:
Un giovane possidente della Cornovaglia s'innamora di una cugina dall'oscuro passato, senza dar troppo retta a chi lo mette in guardia elencandogli i torbidi trascorsi di Rachele. Presto però una serie di fatti e il deperimento fisico e psichico del giovane vengono a confermare anche le voci più cattive. Rachele a questo punto muore per un incidente. Il giovane rimarrà sempre con il dubbio: Rachele era un angelo o un demonio?
