"Sings Just One Look & Other Memorable Selections" è un l'Album di esordio della cantante soul statunitense Doris Troy, pubblicato nel Settembre 1963 dalla casa discografica Atlantic Records e ripubblicato in CD nel 2004.

Review by Andrew Hamilton:

Doris Troy's debut album contains her number ten pop hit "Just One Look," along with an assortment of other fine tracks; seven of the 12 songs are composed by Troy and Gregory Carroll, with Rex Garvin helping on a couple.

And while Troy's rendition of "Stormy Weather" won't overwrite the great torch singers' versions, this is still a fine album.

Atlantic gave Doris ample input to display her songwriting and warbling skills, but she never had another hit. Sometimes it's best to go with the hot producers and writers.

TRAMA:

Paul Stanton (Dermot Mulroney), procuratore distrettuale di Santa Fe, e la moglie Diane (Diane Kruger) ricevono un duro colpo quando i medici comunicano che la loro figlia Chloe è affetta da una grave malattia degenerativa che le impedisce di respirare e che ha bisogno di un trapianto per sopravvivere. Poiché il sistema sanitario americano prevede un complesso iter burocratico e le condizioni di Chloe peggiorano di giorno in giorno, gli Stanton decidono di ricorrere al sottobosco criminale dei trapianti illegali, recandosi fino a Juarez, in Messico, alla ricerca di un dottore che potrebbe far al caso loro. Finiscono però con lo scontrarsi con la malavita locale, mettendo in pericolo anche la loro vita.

Trama

Ingmar Bergman Makes a Movie (Ingmar Bergman gör en film) è un documentario del 1963 realizzato da Vilgot Sjöman per la Sveriges Television che descrive la realizzazione del film Luci d'inverno di Ingmar Bergman.

Bergman ha permesso alla troupe di Sjöman di filmare le prove, ma non le riprese effettive, concedendo inoltre una lunga intervista sulla genesi del film e i temi affrontati.
